Portuguese exports are projected to grow by 5.1% in 2026

Portuguese companies estimate an average growth of 5.1% in the export of goods in 2026, reinforcing confidence in national production despite an international context marked by uncertainty and new trade tariffs. According to the survey "Goods Export Outlook 2026", released by the National Institute of Statistics, the data accumulated up to November 2025 point to a positive evolution, although a preliminary estimate indicates a reduction of 2.6% in the fourth quarter.

The numbers are more significant in Small and Medium Enterprises, which anticipate growth of up to 10.6%, highlighting the resilience of exporting companies and their contribution to value creation in Portugal, competitiveness and balance of trade.
