In a country that must import the majority of the raw materials it consumes, adding value to our products, goods, and services—as well as promoting stronger brands—is essential, not least for retaining more value within the national economy.
In this context, the *Portugal Sou Eu* and *Portugal ID* seals identify and certify national products, services, and brands with a high level of "National Content" (the percentage of a product, service, or brand's composition that is Portuguese).
The *Portugal Sou Eu* seal is the only one that certifies a product's national content, based on Technical Specifications DNPTS4508:2020 and DNPTS4534:2021, developed by the IPQ (Portuguese Institute for Quality). It is also the only seal with a specific version for export products, serving as an identity mark for national production abroad.
Meanwhile, the *Portugal ID* seal is the only one that certifies a brand's national origin, based on Technical Specification DNPTS4600:2025, also developed by the IPQ.
