Industry and Tourism with Credit Line for Decarbonization and Circular Economy
Agrogarante, Garval, Lisgarante and Norgarante - have available the Credit Line for Decarbonization and Circular Economy.

For industrial and tourism companies whose competitiveness agenda includes energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, the Mutual Guarantee Societies - Agrogarante, Garval, Lisgarante and Norgarante - have a Credit Line for Decarbonization and Circular Economy available.

With a budget of 100 million euros, it is eligible for financing operations of up to 2 million euros (maximum amount per company) aimed at investments in the categories of energy efficiency and the circular economy, such as replacing equipment, monitoring and reducing consumption, reformulating and integrating processes inherent in the exchange of fossil energy sources for others of renewable origin and new investments in renewable sources for self-consumption in the production process or in circular strategies.
In addition, companies in the tourism sector can also apply for projects that involve interventions in the opaque and glazed envelope of buildings, with a view to making thermal insulation more effective and increasing energy efficiency. This is because Turismo de Portugal and Fitec - Fundo de Inovação, Tecnologia e Economia Circular (Innovation, Technology and Circular Economy Fund) are the public vehicles that make this credit line possible.

This line of credit covers medium and long-term loans of up to 10 years, including a 24-month grace period. The interest rate can be fixed or variable, depending on what is agreed between the bank and the beneficiary company, plus a maximum spread of 3.5%. For its part, the autonomous guarantee provided by the Mutual Guarantee Companies covers up to 80% of the outstanding capital at any given time, with the guarantee commission being fully subsidized.

All companies looking for funding for their decarbonization projects, including projects submitted to the PRR competition, can apply through one of the 10 banking operators: Novo Banco, Novo Banco dos Açores, Banco BPI, Caixa Central de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo, Bankinter, Millennium BCP, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Banco BIC Português, Caixa Económica Montepio Geral and Banco Santander Totta.

The Mutual Guarantee Societies - Norgarante, Garval, Lisgarante and Agrogarante - support national production by sponsoring AEP initiatives as part of their intervention in the "Portugal Sou Eu" program, promoting the enhancement of national production and the competitiveness of Portuguese companies.
